Because Recovery Happens in Connection, Not Isolation
Come and be part of a community where hope, compassion and recovery come together.
Recovery from an eating disorder can often feel lonely. Many people experience shame, self-criticism and the belief that nobody truly understands what they're going through. Yet one of the most powerful discoveries in recovery is realising that you are not alone.
Connection can be a vital part of healing. Having a safe space to talk openly, share experiences and be understood by others who have faced similar challenges can help reduce isolation and foster hope.
Mindful Recovery Support was created to offer exactly that—a welcoming community where people can come together, support one another and explore recovery in a compassionate and non-judgemental environment.
Whether you're taking your first steps towards recovery, returning after a setback, supporting someone you care about, or simply exploring what recovery might look like for you, you are welcome here.
Having experienced first-hand the challenges of eating disorder recovery, I know how valuable community and connection can be. The inspiration for Mindful Recovery Support came from the support I received through the Yoga for Eating Disorder community, and because of the difference community has made in my life, I wanted to create a similar space here in the UK—a safe, welcoming environment where people can connect, share experiences and support one another with kindness and understanding.
Weekly Online Support Group
The free online support group meets every Monday at 7:00pm (BST) via Microsoft Teams.
These one-hour sessions are not therapy and are not intended to replace professional treatment. Instead, they provide a confidential and supportive space where members can connect with others who understand the challenges of living with an eating disorder.
As I want this to be a safe, confidential, space where members can get to know each other and feel less alone on their recovery journey, there will be a maximum of 15 participants invited, so registration is required. You can register by completing the form below.
Monthly In-Person Support group
I am also excited to offer a monthly in-person support group at the White Hill Centre in Chesham.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning July 14th 2026, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm and provides an opportunity to connect face-to-face with others on their recovery journey.
As with the online group, spaces are limited to help maintain a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. You can register to join below.
Everyone is Welcome
Whether you're taking your first steps towards recovery, returning after a setback, supporting someone you care about, or simply exploring what recovery might look like for you, you are welcome here. The only stipulation is that you must be over the age of 18 to join these groups. That said, if there is enough interest, I may start a group for 13 to 18 year olds at a later date.
Registration is required for both groups so that we can maintain a safe and confidential environment for all participants an you must be eighteen or older.
If you'd like to join us, please complete the registration form below.
Stay Connected Between Meetings
I also have a private Facebook community where members can connect between meetings, share encouragement and find additional support when they need it, you can sign up here.
Mindful Recovery Support is a peer support community and educational resource. It is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. I encourage anyone experiencing an eating disorder to seek support from their GP or an appropriately qualified healthcare professional alongside engaging with this community.
