The 5 P’s of IFS

In Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, the Self is defined by qualities that foster healing and growth, encompassed in the 5 P's:

  • Presence

  • Persistence

  • Perspective

  • Playfulness

These attributes guide individuals in engaging constructively with their internal parts, supporting a therapeutic process that promotes self-awareness and transformation. Here’s a little more information about each of these qualities.
